Parents should assume the role of cheerleader for their dancer. Your student has a ballet teacher/coach. Allow them to do their job with critique.
Your child needs your unwavering moral support. Questions and comments such as: Did you have fun? And, I loved watching you!
Avoid commentary that will turn the conversation with your dancer negative.
Your dancer is having an intense weekend of learning. Please support them by having body warmers on hand, fresh water bottles, healthy fuel/food for meals and snacks, and ensuring solid nights of sleep.
Encourage your dancers to appreciate fellow dancers efforts. No two dancers are the same. We respect others unique gifts and their individual level in the process of a ballet education.
